No! Our hand pressured instrument is a FDA approved class 1 medical device that uses our hand pressure to pierce. Our system is designed to pierce the ear in one smooth, quick and quiet motion. Unlike piercing guns that are spring loaded and “shoot” the earring through the ear, making it loud and possibly causing  trauma to the tissue. Our device is similar to what is used at most pediatric office. 

1. Fully Enclosed Earring Cartridges: Earrings arrive in a single use, sterilized cartridge which prevents exposure to cross contamination. 
2. Our patented Safety Backs: Our backs are fully enclosed shielding the sharp post from poking you. Also the backs cannot be over tightened against the ear which allows for proper air flow, helping to promote healing. 
3. Precision and Control: We have control over the speed and pressure of the device, allowing for a more precise and consistent piercing. 

The Device will use specialty earrings to pierce with, where the hollow needle will use a hollow needle to pierce with and you will choose your gem top to go with your flat back post. I like to offer both method because some have preferences on which style. We can discuss which method is best for you (or your child) at the time of the appointment. 

Device : Yes! All of our earrings are hypoallergenic and nickle-free! Our earrings meet some of the strictest regulations for new piercing jewelry. We offer medical grade stainless steel, gold-plated surgical steel 316L. We do also have a titanium option for those that are extra sensitive! 

Hollow Needle: Yes! We only use titanium flat backs for the post but you can choose from 14K gold (white or yellow) or titanium gem tops. 

I will pierce from as young as 2 months to 99. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by an adult at the appointment. Texas requires proof of guardianship at the time of the appointment, so make sure to bring a valid government issued identification of the minor and of yourself.  

Please understand that piercings happen one at a time so make sure to bring comforts from home (binky, blankets, stuffies etc) and snacks never hurt either! My littles will get a little surprise from me at the end of their appointments 😉

I only pierce ears and nostrils. All inner ear piercings are subject for piercing based on your anatomy. 

Don’t worry, we will give you all your aftercare instructions at the time of your appointment, also sending you home with a hard copy too. We will also give you some aftercare cleaning solution that you’ll want to use as instructed by your piercer. 

As far as healing time generally lobe piercings will take about 2-3 months, where’s any inner ear piercings could take anywhere from 3 months up to 1 year.
